Looking for 3 new intake volunteers!
Working with our office staff, volunteers will be responsible for greeting our clients, confirming their appointments, and directing them to the pickup windows to retrieve their food hampers.
Compassion, patience, kindness and the ability to adhere to strict confidentiality are KEY qualities for this role.
When the unexpected happens, people across Ontario are turning to food banks for help. From rising costs to a personal tragedy or sudden job loss, one change in circumstances can leave a person having to choose between paying the rent and utilities or buying groceries.

Sadly, our most recent Board of Directors Vice-Chair, Chris Mason, passed away May 9, 2022.
Chris was a great supporter of the food bank over the past nine years and was quick to volunteer whenever someone was needed. He asked the questions no one else wanted to and somehow managed to make us all laugh at the same time. He will be remembered for his impact to our organization and his ability to put a smile on everyone's face.
